F5 networks appoints MD in ANZ

Application delivery networking vendor F5 Networks, Inc has appointed of Chris Poulos as Managing Director for Australia and New Zealand. Poulos most recently served as Asia Pacific Managing Director of Akimbi Systems, which was acquired in June 2006 by VMWare. Prior to that position, he achieved remarkable results at Trend Micro in ANZ, growing sales by over 550 percent during his tenure. Other experience during his 20 years in the IT industry includes senior roles at Lotus after starting his career at IBM.
