She is based at the company’s regional head office in Sydney. Information Technologies Australia (iTa), a specialist in voice integration solutions, has appointed former IT executive Carmel Gray, as Chair of the board with immediate effect. From 1999 to 2004 Gray held the position of Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Suncorp. Before this Gray worked as General Manager of the Victorian gas industry’s IT business, preparing it for privatisation. However, Gray’s longest career stint was with Logica for over 10 years, where she held several positions culminating in the managing director role from 1992 until 1997.
