Employment levels for graduates in IT-related subjects is improving, according to the 2006 Australian Graduates' Survey. That said, the 78.8 per cent employment figure for computer scientists is still below the national average (82.4 percent) despite a 5.1 percentage point improvement on last year.

O’Loughlin has been with Dimension Data since 2003 and, prior to his appointment as general manager, was the company’s Southern Region security practice manager. Prior to joining Dimension Data, O’Loughlin was employed as a director at professional services firm Ernst & Young, where he was responsible for security consultancy services for Fortune 500 companies. As part of this role, Darren was the chief Asia-Pacific instructor responsible for the formal training of internal security professionals and clients involved in IT security and risk management.
