Global IT outsourcer Computer Sciences Corporationhas appointed Darryl Thompson as vice president of Service Delivery for CSC’s operations in Australia. Thompson, who joined CSC in 1994, previously served as CSC’s Global director of Event Management Centres. He succeeds Gavin Larkings, who was recently named vice president of Service Delivery for CSC’s operations in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Thompson has more than 23 years of experience in the information technology (IT) industry, specialising in business operations. While with CSC, he has held a number of leadership roles in Australia as well as supported CSC’s global operations. Prior to joining the company, Thompson managed the Information Systems organisation at King Edward Memorial Hospital.

The US District Court for the Western District of Texas has ruled that Nano-Proprietary was entitled to terminate the licence to its SED (surface-conduction, electron-emitter display) technology granted to Canon in 1999.
