The state-run Chinese news agency Xinhua reported on Saturday, September 27, 2008, that China conducted its first extra-vehicular activity (EVA) beginning at 4:43 p.m. Beijing, China time (0843 UTC). The spacewalk is the first one conducted by China.

Jan. 30th spacewalk to fix ISS solar motor seems successful

With the January 30, 2008 spacewalk still in progress, space-working astronauts outside the International Space Station have replaced a faulty motor with a backup one. And it looks promising for operating a solar array so that it will rotate and tilt toward the Sun to provide additional power for their orbiting home.
