18-year-old Hubble takes 59 images of colliding galaxies

NASA/ESA just released fifty-nine images of colliding galaxies taken from the Hubble Space Telescope. The images are now available, as of April 24, 2008, the eighteen-year anniversary of the launching of the Hubble by NASA’s space shuttle Discovery.

NASA ready to launch extra long space mission to station

NASA’s mission control is ready for the launch of space shuttle Endeavour and its STS-123 crew on March 11, 2008, for a sixteen-day delivery mission to the International Space Station in order to install the Japanese Kibo and Canadian Dextre.

NASA announces Endeavour’s STS-123 rollout to KSC launch pad

With a launch date of March 11, 2008, space shuttle Endeavour will be rolled out to its launch pad on Monday, February 18 for its mission to deliver the Japanese Kibo laboratory and the Canadian Dextre robotic hand to the International Space Station.
