			<description>This proposed future depends totally on having a large body of system administrators able and willing to manage the proliferation of distribution-specific issues that come up all the time in the dynamic OSS world. History is littered with LAMP or OSS projects that worked fine until the savant sysadmin left and nobody else could understand all the kludges that held it together. For all the vitues of OSS innovation, their are downsides in lack of consistency at the admin level, and these give Microsoft or other proprietary salesmen ammunition that easily scares off CIOs. - cesarion</description>
