So, according to Jacquie, ALL phones with SIM cards perform NFC functions.

Yes, Lame I also say to you too.

There are numerous groups trying to get a piece of this market with special phones that will be launched in the next year. They are chasing the Nokia 6131. The SIM cards handle the account info. I just thought it was lame to not tell us which phone.

I saw several clips on a BENQ phone named E21 in China, and thought this may be the same phone.

In response to the comment above. It clearly says the SIM CARD not the actual phone. Any sim card capable phone could be used. Excluding (of course) CDMA phones which dont use a SIM.

Lame you say? Oh yeah! lol - Jacquie

It sounds like you are describing the new BENQ T80 phone with the Microsoft OS NXP chip in an SDmicro slot, and Sirit NFC software that is being launched in Taiwan and Mainland China before the end of the year. I am amazed that you can write the whole article, and not tell us which phone is being tested. Lame. - NFCuser
