Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization Briefing: Make Virtualization A Breeze (8:30AM)
The pressure is always on to do more with less and adapting to changing business priorities is crucial. Recent IDC Research shows that virtualization is a key ingredient in a more agile, cost-effective and greener data centre. But, is a proprietary solution the best way of moving forward?
Red Hat doesn't think so......you are invited to come and learn about an alternative, based on open source technology: Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization.
Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization dramatically reduces the cost and complexity of virtualization. It provides a way to free yourself from vendor lock-in and reduce IT costs while maintaining or improving service delivery and support levels. You'll benefit from a virtualization solution that provides the same enterprise-level functionality as other solutions in the market at a fraction of the cost.
For a breath of fresh air and new thoughts on virtualization, join us for a briefing session, where we'll be demonstrating this exciting technology, and showing an exclusive preview of a new set of management tools that provide everything from live migration to high availability to dynamic power management and monitoring.

Canalys Mobility Forum EMEA 2009 (9:00AM - 11:59PM)
Leading organisations in smart phones and netbooks will come together to capitalise on relevant analysis and focus on the dramatic growth of mobility and how it’s shaking up the industry.
Canalys is uniquely placed to conduct such an event with its two traditional sets of clients and cover topics such as:
• Is this the end for ‘Wintel’? Can ‘Quandroid’ make inroads? This panel will explore the future of mobility and which platforms and user interfaces will dominate five years from now.
• Applications and marketplaces. What’s hot and what’s not and which business models will be most successful. Will Ovi work for Nokia and can operators realistically offer a workable alternative in a multi-platform environment?
• Operators – partners or competitors? PC vendors are following smart phone vendors by embracing the operator subsidy model. For every partnership success, however, conflicts appear too. Can operators sell data to corporate customers? Who owns the customer? Should vendors sign exclusive or multi-operator deals?
