This accredited and instructor-led course focuses on developing the student’s knowledge, understanding and application of testing techniques.
This course does not require work experience as it covers the very basics (i.e. why is testing important) right through to the actual methodology, how to write test cases, what test management documentation is produced and why, and even topics such as the “psychology of testing” – that is, how to liaise with the development team to foster a productive environment.
The ISTQB Foundation Certificate is an internationally recognised professional qualification in software testing. Upon the successful completion of the certification exam, the student’s name is registered with the ISTQB Board and the Australian & New Zealand Testing Board which is then published internationally.
