Sydney Voice Leadership Forum Taps into Buoyant Market for Voice Recognition Technologies

Next month’s Voice Leadership Forum 2007 in Sydney is set to tap into the growing interest in voice recognition technology and showcase the latest developments and business benefits that have resulted through the deployment of voice self-service and speaker verification solutions both in Australia and overseas.

According to Opus Research, the overall market for voice-recognition technology reached US$1 billion for the first time in 2006, a 100 percent increase in just two years. Opus Research also found that the market for server-based voice-recognition technology in call centres was valued at US$600 million in 2006 and is expected to double by 2009.

Speakers at the two day forum include a top line up of both Australian and international organisations, including St George Bank, Salesforce, Pizza Hut, Australian Health Management, the UK’s Standard Life Insurance and Trustpower, one of New Zealand’s leading utilities.

Attendees will discover new options to increase customer service levels, learn about the business benefits resulting from implementing voice self-service solutions and gain practical insights into the “real-life” experiences of organisations which have implemented biometric speaker verification systems.

The Voice Leadership Forum is sponsored by VeCommerce, one of the world’s leading innovators in the provision of voice self-service and speaker verification solutions.  The event is being staged at the Shangri-La Hotel in Sydney on 7-8 March.
