Telstra has revealed the addition of almost one million new mobile services in the six months to December 2011, but Sensis revenues plummeted 24 percent in 12 months.
E2E, the leading provider of Model Driven Integration (MDI) software, today announced that it has appointed Ray Bradbery as Managing Director for Australia and New Zealand based in Sydney. Ray Bradbery joins E2E with more than 30 years’ experience in the IT industry, including 23 years with the Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA) and seven years at Borland Software.
During his time with the CBA, Bradbery worked in senior operational, programming and executive roles, including a CIO role for the CBA Financial Services subsidiary. For around five years, he also lead a team within the bank which was responsible for strategic and tactical planning for the organisation’s Information Services Department. He also held the title of Executive Manager for Change and Problem Management in information systems and was seconded for two years to assist the Papua New Guinea Banking Corporation in a CIO role.
In 1994, Bradbery joined Borland Software and established the company’s first professional services operation worldwide before being promoted to Managing Director, Australia New Zealand. During this time, he was at the forefront of Borland's transition from a channel-focused business to an enterprise software company. In his final role with Borland as Vice President, Asia Pacific, Ray established offices in India, South Korea and China and was also appointed Chairman of Borland Software's Executive Committee.
Since leaving Borland, Ray has worked with a number of software companies, including Seagull Software and Rogue Wave Software where he established Asia Pacific operations and partner strategies. He has also been a consultant and mentor to both the public and private sector in assisting with business and IT strategy for organisations including the NSW Aboriginal Land Council and Apex Property Consulting.
Serge Gansner, Chief Executive Officer of E2E Technologies, said, “E2E continues to drive revenue in all of our regions around the world and Ray’s proven technology expertise and skill at building strong customer relationships makes him the ideal choice to lead our sales team in Australia and New Zealand. Ray’s more than 30 years of IT experience coupled with E2E's revolutionary and highly effective approach to SOA and EDA, is a compelling combination.”
The E2E Bridge enables organisations to completely eliminate conventional programming of application interfaces because integration services, including microflows, composition, orchestration and business logic, are modelled in their entirety in UML and can be directly compiled and executed without having to write or generate code that is difficult to maintain.
In comparison to conventional EAI and SOA approaches, the quality and transparency of interface implementations is substantially improved and maintenance simplified since the documentation is the code. E2E's approach has been hailed by leading market research firms as a major technological breakthrough in software development.
“After 30 years in this industry, it's becoming increasingly difficult to be surprised. But when I first heard what E2E was doing and what successes they had with major SOA projects at UBS, DKSH and Deutsche Post, I began to realise that they are not just another software company, but that their approach may help change the entire industry to become more effective. That's a revolution I wanted to be part of, and I am very excited to help E2E expand in this region,” said Bradbery.
Bradbery has a Master of Business Administration from the Macquarie Graduate School of Management in Sydney.
