Ajilon Appoints Brett Findlay Following SAP Win

Multi-national ICT business consulting and solutions provider, Ajilon, has appointed Brett Findlay in the role of Asia Pacific Japan Regional Director, SAP.

Having recently returned to his home town of Melbourne, Mr Findlay will focus on leveraging Ajilon's recently awarded ‘SAP Alliance Partner - Services' status by launching new SAP-geared service lines for Ajilon and extending the company's current service offerings across the Australian and Asia-Pacific regions.

Bill Leropoulos, General Manager at Ajilon, couldn't be happier about Mr Findlay's arrival following the sign-off on the SAP partnership earlier this year.

"Brett's appointment is a major addition to our company's operations.  He has a great deal of SAP experience across many industry sectors and we're keen to tap into this.

"Brett's first priority will be to build and extend Ajilon's SAP service line here in Australia, exploiting our strengths in project and program management.

"Beyond this, he'll begin to leverage our great customer relationships and experience into the Asia Pacific Japan region," he said.

Mr Findlay explained that Ajilon's objective in growing new SAP service lines wasn't about competing in the traditional SAP solution areas, rather extending the company's current customer offerings with a more specific focus on SAP programs and delivery management.

"Our customers will benefit because they'll be able to access mission-critical support from SAP via Ajilon.  Traditionally they would need to have gone to SAP direct.  Now they can buy from one provider, instead of multiple providers.  They'll enjoy the obvious economies of scale that go with this," Mr Findlay said.

Ian McFarlane, Managing Director of Ajilon Australia, said Mr Findlay's appointment was a strategic move geared toward developing a stronger SAP capability in Australia, along with creating key hubs around the Asia Pacific Japan region.

"Ajilon is an organisation that has extensive global capabilities and reach.  We have a lot of global knowledge and skill around SAP in our business that we need to leverage and present to our customers.  Brett will play an integral part in achieving this vision for the business," he said.

Mr Findlay joins Ajilon from SAP in Singapore and brings over nine years senior level SAP experience to his role, from positions held in both Australia and the Asia-Pacific region.  His industry experience covers the IT, telecommunications, utilities, human resources, banking, defence, aerospace, high-tech and retail CPG and service sectors.

He earned his Bachelor of Business in Economics and Marketing, Graduate Certificate in Management, Graduate Diploma in Management and MBA at Deakin University.
