The Australian international advertising technologies commercialisation specialist company, the Ventures in Digital Media (ViDM) Group, has appointed a new CFO and company secretary.
ViDM CEO Willie Pang announced the appointment of Brisbane-based Damian Element to the role, responsible for the company's financial strategy, management and execution, including accounting, budgeting and forecasting, corporate structure and governance, and board and shareholding reporting oversight.
Pang said Element was a specialist in helping small and medium sized organisations (SMEs) with finance and corporate administration, and has more than 20 years experience including as chief financial officer and company secretary of ASX-listed and unlisted public companies, including with the Webfirm Group and Myinternet.
The appointment of Element follows ViDM's recent acquisition of Amplify, a digital media services company.
'We're storming into 2012 and now have the product portfolio, people and client calibre that supports our growth strategy for Australia, New Zealand and into Asia,' Pang said.
'We welcome Damian's corporate acumen which, combined with his experience working with new and emerging technology companies, make him well-placed to support our three-five year plan.'
Founded only last year, ViDM globally sources and implements advanced advertising technologies for Australian online publishers and advertisers.
