The new beta 6 of the iPhone SDK seems to include incontrovertible
proof that the 3G iPhone is real, and is presumably coming on June 9, amongst other iPhone news.

The MacRumors site
has posted two very interesting “text strings” from within the new beta 6, build 9M2192 of the iPhone SDK.
These
two new text strings clearly show that Apple has carefully taken its
time before including the strings, possibly to string us all along for
as long as possible before officially announcing the 3G iPhone is real.
Of course there already was the rumour/proof of an earlier
string which MacRumors says gave a “user a method to turn on and off
3G”, which read “Using 3G loads data faster, but decreases battery
life” which should have been proof enough of the 3G iPhone, but hey,
it’s always nice to have even more proof pre the magical June 9 date.
MacRumors reports the two new warning strings revolve around a user trying to “turn 3G on or off during an active phone call”.
The two strings are as follows:
"Disabling 3G will end your phone call. Are you sure you want to disable 3G?"
"Enabling 3G will end your phone call. Are you sure you want to enable 3G?"
After
reading this, how much more proof do we need that the next iPhone will
be a 3G iPhone? All we need now is for Steve Jobs to release it. 8 days
to go!
But that’s not all the iPhone news that has hit in the
