Kyocera monochrome printer range recognised in industry-leading 2009 awards

Complementing it’s line-up of fully awarded colour laser printers, Kyocera Mita, one of the world's leading document solutions companies, has received awards from Bertl’s Best and Buyers Laboratory Inc. for quality, durability and value in its range of A4 monochrome laser printers, including the Kyocera FS-1350DN, FS-3920DN and FS-4020DN models.

In the 14th Annual Bertl’s Best Awards 2009[1], the Kyocera FS-1350DN won an award for the ‘Best Value for Price Mono Printer’, which recognised key features of the device including its:
- Exceptionally low printing costs
- Ability to print up to 30 pages per minute with 1,200 dpi resolution
- Standard duplex unit for double-sided printing with a Max. paper capacity of up to 800 sheets

Kyocera’s FS-3920DN was also awarded the Bertl’s Best ‘Best Productive Monochrome Printer’ award for its:

- Productive duplex functions for saving paper
- Ability to print up to 42 pages per minute with up to 1,200 dpi resolution
- Standard duplex unit for double-sided printing

For its second year running, Kyocera also attracted recognition from Buyers Laboratory Inc (BLI)[2], the office equipment industry's leading independent authority and provider of competitive intelligence, testing and reviews on multifunction (MFP), copier, printer and fax products. A ‘Certificate of Reliability’ was presented to Kyocera for the performance of the FS-4020DN monochrome laser printer in BLI’s in-house durability test.

The certificate confirms the highly reliable performance of the FS-4020DN when subjected to a 125,000-impression BLI durability test in a networked environment.
