Data doubles daily a decade hence

And if an increase of 2,048 fold in a year seems high, there are some who believe the amount of digital information will double each day by the end of the decade as people continue to use mobile devices to collect audio and video data.

The 'bubblegum and paperclip' systems that many companies develop themselves to try and help find corporate data to keep regulators and lawyers happy won't solve the problem according to Tom Jenkins, executive chairman and chief strategy officer of Open Text.
