Oracle has revealed that several big-name customers are using its locally-hosted SaaS CRM product.
For that reason, Oracle has been offering a locally hosted implementation of its SaaS CRM product since November 2010, taking into particular account the needs of the public sector.
The company has now revealed that customers for the onshore service include NBN Co, the Victorian Department of Human Services, NSW Government agency NSW Businesslink, Suncorp, and energy and mining service provider AJ Lucas.
"Oracle CRM On Demand meets our needs as it is easy to use, flexible and innovative and provides all the additional advantages of a hosted solution. Providing the data locally makes the solution more compelling and provides us the ability to expand the footprint into other departmental needs," said Grahame Coles, CIO, Department of Human Services, Victoria.
"Oracle CRM On Demand is flexible, reliable and was implemented quickly making it the right solution for us, together with the local regulatory data compliance, which gives us peace of mind when storing data in the cloud," Simon Soon, CIO, AJ Lucas.
