International Business Systems' Australian reseller, Team Computing, has now expanded its capability to include hosting of enterprise cloud solutions from the global ERP and supply chain provider.
The managing director of Team Computing - which is the IBS default hardware provider in Australia - Peter Sanderson, said the IBS cloud solutions include the latest versions of the IBS enterprise modules for distribution intelligence, distributions financials, supply management, logistics, assembly and services, and demand management and supply chain integration.
"We immediately recognised the importance of IBS cloud solutions in helping our customers lower their IT costs. In addition, the subscription-based model is an excellent opportunity for businesses who want capacity on demand without having to purchase expensive hardware," Sanderson said.
IBS general manager for the Asia Pacific, Ludo Hertroijs, said that with expertise in networks, systems, software and security, Team Computing can support a variety of technologies from PCs all the way up to mainframe-class systems.
Hertroijs said the company's cloud solutions were designed to provide benefits such as 'lower IT cost, reduced business risk, faster time to value and greater flexibility combined with the advanced functionality of IBS enterprise in the cloud.' 'The offering is a subscription-based license model that leverages a shared, virtualised infrastructure for on-demand offerings and can also be extended to IBS' mobility solution.'
