Jasco splits off cloud operations

Jasco Consulting has established two new companies - OneNimbus and OneNimbus Research - to take care of its cloud activities.

Melbourne based software and services company Jasco Consulting has moved its OneNimbus-branded cloud operations into two new companies, OneNimbus and OneNimbus Research.

The current OneNimbus range comprises messageLinx (a message broadcasting platform), 2SQL (for migrating Access databases to SQL Server) and EVault (remote backup).

Several appointments have been made by the new companies.

Harold Melnick, vice president of marketing and alliances, previously managed global marketing for various Microsoft divisions, and has also worked for NEC, Telstra and Vodafone.

Sean Walsh, vice president of sales and partners, joins the company from AppSense where was vice president of sales for ANZ. Mr Walsh previously held various senior sales roles with enterprise software vendors such as Citrix.

Andrew Dale, vice president of global sales, previously worked for NEC and Circa Telecommunications.
