Telecommunications IT provider DGIT's Telflow B2B Gateway has been used to gain certification for the integration between Nextgen and NBN Co.

"As an NBN demand aggregator, Nextgen requires the scalability and operational accuracy provided by B2B Integration with NBN Co", said Phil Sykes, managing director of Nextgen Networks.

Telflow B2B Gateway is the first product of its kind to be certified for use with NBN Co's B2B gateway.

The certification covers voice and data services on fibre and wireless networks.

Telflow B2B Gateway can be used by retail and wholesale service providers to link their systems with those operated by NBN Co for service qualification, order placement, modifications, order management assurance, and billing.

The Gateway is offered as software or as a cloud service.

"Nextgen Networks certification, using the DGIT B2B Gateway, is a significant milestone," said NBN Co's manager of industry integration, Martin Pittard.

"It heralds the introduction of third party NBN Co compliant IT solutions providing choice for incumbent service providers and new entrants alike.

"Our adoption of ebXML [Electronic Business using eXtensible Markup Language] and a standards based information exchange provide the framework that supports companies such as DGIT to develop secure and scalable offerings for fully automated operations with NBN Co."
