HP has announced new services to analyse and optimise enterprise network performance.

HP's new network infrastructure optimisation services start with traffic analysis to identify the cause of network issues, whether that's in WANs or LANs.

"With a dispersed workforce and growing connectivity demands, enterprises can no longer revert to traditional singular quick fixes, such as adding bandwidth, to address network issues," said Michael Grossfeldt, network services general manager, technology services, HP South Pacific. "HP's new services pinpoint inefficiencies that can be removed for a greater end-user experience."

HP is also working with F5 Networks to supply services based on the BIG-IP platform for application delivery optimisation, whether that's to optimise access to applications in multiple data centres, or to speed delivery of specific applications such as Microsoft Exchange, Lync or SharePoint.
