MacBook Pros get another wireless option

Apple designed the MacBook Pro with a new ExpressCard34 slot rather than a PCI slot which meant you could not connect it to any of Australia's wide area wireless networks and have access on the move, but things are changing. First cab of the rank was iBurst which introduced a USB modem in May. Now Maxon has added Mac drivers for its MiniMax 1x EV-DO USB modem, available with Windows drivers since February. The MiniMax is available from Telstra shops and is offered free on 24 month 1x EV-DO data plans.
