There haven't been many peripherals with Thunderbolt interfaces so far, but that's beginning to change. New video capture and playback devices from Blackmagic Design use the new interface fitted to recent Macs.

Intensity devices come with the Blackmagic Media Express editing software.
The Intensity Shuttle is also available with a USB 3.0 interface for use with Windows-based PCs. It costs $215.
Also new from Blackmagic Design is the Intensity Extreme, a HD/SD editing device that supports compressed and uncompressed video and includes a similar set of connectors to the Intensity Shuttle Thunderbolt. Priced at $319, its is compatible with a variety of software including Avid Media Composer 6, Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Nuke, and DaVinci Resolve.
First deliveries of the Intensity Extreme are expected this month.
Blackmagic Design products are distributed in Australia by New Magic.
