FileMaker frees up Technical Network

Business IT - Technology

Participation in the FileMaker Technical Network is now free to FileMaker developers.

"The FileMaker Technical Network delivers a huge array of tools and resources for FileMaker Pro database creators, as well as an outstanding online community. Now it's all for free," said Jon Sigler, FileMaker's vice president of product management. "We encourage all active FileMaker developers to join."

FileMaker officials added that membership provides access to a library of scripts, calculations, and functions; how-to articles; members only webinars; iOS development resources for FileMaker Go for the iPhone and iPad; technical white papers; and an online developer forum.

As a bonus for those joining by March 15, the FileMaker Training Series is offered for $9.99 instead of the usual $129.

Also available is a $99 per year FileMaker Developer Subscription which provides a FileMaker Server Advanced development licence (limited to three FileMaker Pro connections and three web connections), the FileMaker Training Series with updates, and access to pre-release software.
