A tenth anniversary is a milestone in the life of any piece of software.
It allows administrators to track email quotas, message sizes, public folders, distribution lists, contacts, and mailbox configuration and use, making it possible to identify unused accounts, mailboxes, and servers, plus underused stores, devices, and storage.
The product was first released 10 years ago. Nick Nikols, vice president and general manager, of Quest's Windows business unit, said "The continued innovation of MessageStats over the past decade has met the needs of more than 17 million users who needed help completing a wide variety of projects - everything from assessing the need to support a mobile device platform, to analysing the impact and size of assets to be migrated to a new messaging platform."
