Fujitsu is returning to the desktop PC business in Australia with the launch of ten new models in the Esprimo family.

"Previously we only offered notebooks under the Lifebook brand for the Australian market" said Bert Noah, country manager for Fujitsu PC Australia, but your correspondent recalls attending the official opening of Fujitsu's desktop PC assembly plant in Dandenong (southeast Melbourne) back in the 1990s when Alan Stockdale was Victorian Treasurer and Minister for Multimedia.
