Transpire, eMite forge partnership

Business IT - Technology

IT consulting firm, Transpire, and service intelligence software company, eMite, have teamed up in a partnership to tackle the 'challenge' of unifying siloed information sources into a single view.

The partnership brings together Transpire's operational analytics and benchmarking expertise with eMite's service intelligence solution, and according to Transpire's, Managing Director, Mark Uren 'combined, Transpire and eMite will help customers address one of the key challenges facing IT departments today, unifying siloed information sources into a single view.'

'Time and again we see organisations, and service desks in particular, struggling with a lack of meaningful information to guide service improvement. eMite's solution is very simple, breaking down barriers and presenting the user with information they were previously unable to access in a single view,' Uren said.

Uren said that eMite's service intelligence software allows organisations to unify all information silos, allowing them to visualise connections between metrics that may not previously have been considered. 'The combination of Transpire's expertise with eMite's software will enable customers to make better, more informed decisions, faster.'

'Having a more accurate, integrated, end-to-end view of how IT is servicing its customers can enable quite substantial service availability and productivity gains,' Uren adds. 'Our partnership will provide a fact-based and user-friendly platform from which significant service improvements can be delivered.'

Matt Elliott, COO at eMite said 'there is a great natural fit between Transpire as the service improvement experts and eMite as the platform to onboard and correlate metrics from an ever expanding portfolio of technology silos.'

According to Elliott, enterprises' have been wanting to run IT as a business for some time now but the 'siloed nature of IT has meant that enterprise level analysis was not possible without months of integration and software engineering.' 'eMite's ability to unify business and technical metrics coupled with Transpire's business focus presents enterprises with the opportunity to analyse their IT operations from a business standpoint.'
