Epson adds iPhone dock to video projector

Epson's new Epson MG-850HD video projector includes a built-in dock for iPod, iPhone and iPad. The usual HDMI and VGA inputs are also provided.

The "go anywhere" MG-850HD video projector from Epson includes a built-in dock for iPod, iPhone and iPad to allow easy, big-screen playback of content stored on Apple's mobile devices. The unit also offers 10W stereo sound.

Other features include plug-and-play "instant setup" allowing easy projection from a Mac or Windows-based PC. HDMI and VGA inputs mean the MG-850HD can handle content from other mobile devices, game consoles and video equipment.

Technical specifications include 2800 lumens, 3000:1 contrast, and resolution up to 1280x800 pixels.

The recommended retail price is $1199.
