Infor reveals apps for Force.com

Infor has revealed plans to release three applications on salesforce.com's Force.com platform in a deal that also involves salesforce.com investing in the business software company.


Business software vendor has announced three applications for the Force.com platform:

'¢ InForce Everywhere makes ERP data available within Salesforce.com. Scheduled for release later this year, it will include Salesforce Chatter to support social profiles, status updates and real-time feeds.

'¢ InForce Order Management is a quote, order and proposal management application that will integrate with Salesforce CRM to provide an accurate view of pricing and availability.

'¢ InForce Marketing takes advantage of Infor's CRM Epiphany recommendation engines for marketing automation, including inbound and outbound campaign management and lead maturation.

Company officials said further Force.com applications will be developed.
