Latest Lenovo lappies line up

Lenovo's aiming its latest notebooks at students, professionals and SMEs.


Tablets may be all the rage, but a lot of people still look to notebooks for mobility.

Intended for small business buyers, the Lenovo ThinkPad E320 is available from $499 with a 2.1GHz Core i3 CPU, 2GB RAM, a 250GB 5400rpm hard drive, an 13.3in widescreen display, b/g/n Wi-Fi, and Windows 7 Home Premium.

Other configurations provide more RAM, a bigger and faster hard drive, and a 3G mobile broadband card.

"The Edge E320 is designed to offer small-to-medium businesses the performance technologies and mobility needed to manage their business, wherever it takes them,' said David Heyworth, Think product group manager, Lenovo Australia and New Zealand.

More than 10% of the E320 is recycled content, company officials claimed.

The slimline ThinkPad X121e is just over 2.5cm thick and weighs less than 1.55kg in its lightest configuration. Specifications include a 1.3GHz Core i3 CPI, 2GB RAM, a 250GB 5400rpm hard drive, an 11.6in widescreen display, b/g/n Wi-Fi, 3G mobile broadband, and Windows 7 Home Premium.
