Sage spiffs up ERP X3

Sage Business Solutions says there are more than 320 enhancements in Sage ERP X3 version 6.2.

New features of Sage ERP X3 6.2 include 'any field' searches, plus access to external electronic documents and content from within the application.

Other improvements include account management simplification, fixed asset management, banking communication, stock and work in progress accounting, work order cost calculation, and sales workflow.   

"With this new version we are delivering new functionality such as Sage Search, integrating the SDATA protocol," said managing director Mike Lorge.

SDATA is the company's REST-based protocol for integrating Sage applications with each other and with external software.

"We've also greatly enhanced v6.2 with hundreds of module improvements which will benefit our customers and further deliver on ERP modernisation, helping mid-market businesses implement real systems of innovation without activity disruption. We are constantly looking for ways to build on our product quality so that our customers have the best possible user experience," added Mr Lorge.
