Apple patches Mac OS X 10.6.7 for MacBook Air

Business IT - Technology

Apple has released a patch for the current 13in MacBook Air running Mac OS X 10.6.7.

A flaw in the recently released Mac OS X 10.6.7 caused problems for owners of the 13in MacBook Air that shipped late last year. The issue manifested as a freeze when running iTunes, and was reportedly related to the way the software handles protected audio files.

Apple has now pushed out a 'supplemental update' to address the problem and recommends its installation on all 13in MacBook Airs running Mac OS X 10.6.7.

The update should also appear in Software Update on affected systems.
