StayinFront puts CRM for FMCG in the cloud

Business IT - Technology

A new cloud CRM offering is aimed specifically at the FMCG industry.

Microsoft's not the only company with a cloud CRM announcement today - StayinFront's EdgeCG is, according to company officials, the first CRM system in Australia that is specific to the fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry.

In particular, the on-demand system can supply reps with objectives, tasks, surveys and promotions to drive in-store sales; ensure compliance with agreed terms; identify trends; highlight distribution gaps; and track competitive activity.

"Introducing the first complete on-demand CRM solution specifically for the consumer goods sector is very exciting. We know that StayinFront EdgeCG is the right tool for FMCG companies. It gives them the power and flexibility to be highly successful in the evolving and highly competitive retail landscape," said Kerrie-Anne Turner, APAC vice president and managing director Australia.
