FileMaker stuffs Christmas stockings with software

FileMaker may have the answer to one piece of your Christmas shopping puzzle.

Apple subsidiary FileMaker is running a pre-Christmas offer on its flagship FileMaker Pro 11 product.

Until December 22, purchasers of FileMaker 11 Pro by download will receive a second licence free.

The $499 'two for the price of one' offer only applies in the Asia Pacific region, and only to orders placed directly with FileMaker's online store.

The second licence can be used by the purchaser or given away, but not resold.

Asia Pacific regional manager Steve McManus said "in the spirit of value and sharing this holiday season, we are making it simple to pass along the productivity by giving friends, colleagues, clients or charities a gift that can help them improve the way they organise their data and activities."

Deatails of the offer can be found here.
