Specific components of the offering come from Mformation Technologies, which provides the key mobile device management component. Other components come from Sweden-based Storegate AB, US-based SoonR and O3SIS, a Gemalto company based in Germany.

According to Quaderi, "The O3SIS Personal Life Mobilizer provides the data backup facility so you can replicate all your data, contacts etc on a new device over the air. The Storegate backup looks at backing hard data files etc from mobile devices. The SoonR software provides version control and a dashboard interface for an administrator in an end user organiser to manage individual devices."

The whole offering goes by the ungainly name of 'HP Cloud Services Enablement for Device Management as a Service' (HP CSE for DMaaS). It is the third offering in HP's portfolio of cloud technologies, following the earlier release of communications as a service and infrastructure as a service. Quaderi said that HP already had one reference customer for HP CSE for DMaaS, Telefónica Móviles in Spain.
