Snap spreads to online marketing, online printing

Business IT - Technology

Snap is well known for its printing and copying services. But now the company sees an opportunity in providing e-marketing services to its SME customers. There's also a new online printing service being run in conjunction with Quark.

Print shop franchise Snap is moving beyond its traditional turf and encouraging its operators to offer small and medium sized businesses a new range of services including website building, email marketing, electronic publishing, and video production.

Known as Snap Level 2, the new brand is already available through around 40% of Snap's approximately 150 franchises in Australia.

"The concepts have been tested and developed through pilot Snap centres over the past couple of years and are now well resolved," said Snap CEO Grant Vernon.

Snap plans to roll out the new services throughout the group, including overseas operations.

"We are expanding our range of services beyond our traditional market with Snap Level 2," said Mr Vernon. "The concepts have been tested and developed through pilot Snap centres over the past couple of years and are now well resolved."

Snap is also bringing an online component to its printing services - see page 2.
