New software provides access to CRM and business process functions from mobile phones.
A pair of products from Sybase puts key business functions in the pockets of a mobile workforce.
Sybase Mobile Sales for SAP CRM provides sales professionals with anywhere, anytime access to SAP CRM 2007 via iPhones, Windows Mobile devices and other smartphones.
Sybase Mobile Workflow for SAP Business Suite sends business process items such as workflow items and alerts, time recording and travel requests via email so they can be handled on the move.
"The new generation of business users demands immediate access to SAP solutions anytime, anywhere using mobile devices," said Kevin Nix, SAP's senior vice president, business solutions and technology.
"Our partnership with Sybase allows us to deliver instant value to people everywhere to help maintain relationships with customers, partners and suppliers and make quick on-the-go decisions, on the device of their choice," he added.
