Apple fixes pro applications issues with ProKit update

An update for Apple's professional applications including Final Cut and Aperture fixes user interface and other issues.

Apple has updated ProKit, a shared resource used by its professional and prosumer applications.

Changes delivered in ProKit 5.1 include the correction of improper scrolling behaviour, changes to the layout of certain alert windows, and the resolution of memory leaks.

Apple recommends the update to all users of Final Cut Studio, Final Cut Pro, Motion, Soundtrack Pro, DVD Studio Pro, Aperture, Final Cut Express, Soundtrack, Logic Pro and Logic Express.

ProKit 5.1 requires Mac OS X 10.5.8 (Leopard), or 10.6 or later (Snow Leopard).

The update is available via Software Update or for download from Apple's web site.
