SAP helps toll Queensland motorists

Business IT - Technology

SAP software is a key component of Queensland Motorways' new free-flowing tolling system.

Queensland Motorways picked IBM to implement a system that would remove the need for motorists to slow down and pay tolls.

The SAP software enables Queensland Motorways to know who is traveling on its motorways, how often and at what times.

Plans include the provision of customised services for toll road users, which is said to provide an opportunity for improved traffic management.
