Integrated Research wins German VoIP deployment

Business IT - Technology

Performance monitoring software provider, Integrated Research (ASX:IRI), has formed partnership with T-Systems, a division of Deutsche Telekom, for a major VoIP deployment in Germany, using its PROGNOSIS suite.

Integrated Research has also announced the opening of a new office in the centre of Frankfurt to support its European customer base and to target new IP telephony opportunities in the region.

'PROGNOSIS is well established in Germany, with clients such as DB Systems (Deutsche Bahn) and Deutsche Bank. We had committed to open the new European office in Frankfurt and this new partnership with T-Systems has reinforced our decision,' said Keith Andrews, CEO of Integrated Research.

'Over the past 17 years we've built a solid Central European business for our HP NonStop server performance management products, through the support of local distributors,' said Mr Andrews. 'Now we're investing in a more direct presence to address the rapidly emerging German market for VoIP and IP telephony performance management solutions.'

Wolfgang Sattel, service delivery manager from T-Systems said, 'Corporations are now starting to rollout large IP telephony deployments. As the leader in this field, T-Systems is working with these companies to help implement and manage their systems. We chose PROGNOSIS IP Telephony Manager from Integrated Research as our monitoring, alerting and troubleshooting solution, as it will allow us to intimately manage all aspects of our clients' IP telephony deployment.'

Mr Sattel said, 'We're encouraged that Integrated Research is making a greater investment into supporting opportunities in the German market and we look forward to working with the local PROGNOSIS team on our first major client deployment.'

IRI shares closed up 1.5c to finish on 55c in a solid day of trading.
