According to Scott, there were no barriers for golf courses to sign-up for the tee-booking facility and it was a “great way to not only increase the round numbers but also a way for golf courses to promote specials to the market, increase their yield and receive upfront payments.

“Golf courses participating in the online program will receive significant online coverage through the Golf Australia website, and various tourism websites around the country which will all (sic) them to improve not only round numbers but also to increase their yield, which is especially valuable in times where the discretionary spend from consumers is becoming harder to attain.”
