Another bundle promoter from the UK is
Mac Bundle Box. The current bundle claims to provide $US458.59 value for $US49.
There's no flim-flam, just a straight offer of 12 applications and a pledge that 10 percent of the revenue will go to
Charity: Water.
The menu comprises Freeway (web site creation), Simon (web site monitor), Keynote Themes (25 designs for Keynote), DEVONthink, myNotes (note manager), iCash (personal and small business accounting), DaisyDisk (disk space management), Web2Delight (web image and video aggregator and downloader), Chronicle (bill tracking), xHub (media centre), Stomp (video recompressor), and Exces (AES file encryption).
Four of the programs (Freeway, Simon, DEVONthink and iCash) normally sell for more than the bundle price, and you'd also be ahead if you only wanted any three of the other applications.
There's no indication on the web site of when the offer expires, or whether upgrade and support rights are included.
We're not saying that MacWeed, The Mac Sale or Mac Bundle Box don't provide upgrade and support rights, only that when you're not buying directly from the developer, the old adage "buyer beware" is especially relevant.
Without intending to endorsing any particular promoters, we would mention that we have heard from a few people who were satisfied with the value they received from previously offered bundles.
