Facebook opens stream to developers

Seesmic introduced the beta of Seesmic Desktop, a Twitter-plus-Facebook client that puts both social media streams into one interface.

And Facebook itself showed off a new Adobe Air application, Facebook Desktop for Air, which functions as a standalone application to access Facebook. Available through a link on the Facebook Blog , it eliminates the (what some users consider) clutter in the Facebook browser display.
