Services are not throttled once the data quota is reached, instead users have the option as with Internode's ADSL services of buying additional data blocks: $10 for 250MB; $20 for 500MB; and $40 for 1GB. As with Internode's ADSL data blocks, these blocks expire at the month end of the service for which they are bought and any unused data is forfeit. Details of the service will be available from 28 April on http://www.internode.on.net/nodemobile.
Internode product manager Jim Kellett said: “While our first NodeMobile-Data plans provide mobile broadband with a dynamic IP address, over time we intend to develop a wider range of business-focused applications such as a static IP backup for Business ADSL and various types of connectivity to our Internode Business Connect private IP service.”
