Marshal8e6’s chairman, Simon Wilson said today that Vigouroux had a proven track record in the information security industry of increasing top and bottom line results, most recently as president and CEO of Finjan, an enterprise Web security company, and he was confident that Vigouroux’s experience would be instrumental in positioning Marshal8e6 as a top player in the market as “the go-to provider of integrated secure Web and email gateway solutions.”
Wilson said Vigouroux had also successfully led public companies as president and COO of Tumbleweed Communications, joining Tumbleweed through the company’s 2002 merger with publicly traded Valicert, where he was as president and CEO.
Vigouroux has also held management positions at Cisco, Adobe and GE Information Services, as well as several Silicon Valley startups, and Wilson says he was successful in fundraising efforts to bring over US$50 million in new venture and private equity investment to his previous two companies.
