Acxiom going for growth, expands Australian-NZ management team

Business IT - Technology

Customer information management provider, Acxiom, has appointed two new managers to its business in Australia and New Zealand as it pursues a growth strategy for both markets.

Acxiom’s VP of sales for Asia Pacific, Claire Pribula, has announced the appointment of Doug Gibson as sales leader and Bob Sparshatt to the role of analytics consultant.

Pribula said Gibson had joined from SAP, and had previously worked with both Oracle and IBM.

Sparshatt, who will report to Neil Boulton, head of Acxiom’s new consulting line of business in the two markets, previously worked with Pacific Micromarketing, and prior to that with Experian in the UK.  Boulton has taken on his new role after a stint as sales leader, Australia and New Zealand, for Acxiom.

Pribula says Acxiom’s service offerings in the Australian and New Zealand markets will include market area analysis, comparative analysis, geo-mapping, customer segmentation, propensity modelling and scoring, using Acxiom’s range of data sets including InfoBase, PersonicX and FirmographicX products.

According to Pribula, the appointments of Gibson and Sparshatt reflect the importance of Asia Pacific to the global Acxiom business, and as we Acxiom Asia Pacific prepares for significant growth and development over the next twelve months.

“Acxiom’s portfolio of services continues to expand throughout the region, and they will play a vital role in ensuring that Acxiom has the appropriate skills and services in place to help us create and drive strategic and analytic initiatives within our new and existing customer bases.”
