With still one more general management appointment to come in the near future – a new GM of finance – Hybrid TV has grabbed Brendan Frawley from Samsung to take on the role of general manager of marketing and sales, with Steve Browning joining from Freeview NZ to become NZ launch manager and Brad Wilson, formerly with Telstra Media, appointed to head up content and services.
Hybrid CEO, Robbee Minicola, says the business was started with only three permanent staff last July and he now has a strong team of individuals whose knowledge and experience are critical to the future success of TiVo in Australia and New Zealand.
According to Minicola, based on the company’s growth over the past eight months, he expects that by the time TiVo crosses the Tasman, the number of employees will grow beyond 40 in Australia and New Zealand.
The launch of TiVo in New Zealand is slated for around Christmas this year.
