Tripwire announced today that TALKINGtech, an interactive voice messaging solutions provider, is implementing Tripwire Enterprise, an enhanced file integrity monitoring solution to help maintain PCI compliance.
Maintenance of PCI compliance is vital for companies in ensuring protection for cardholders against data theft and fraud.
PCI DSS was designed to protect sensitive cardholder account data from theft and fraud, and all organisations that perform or process credit card transactions must achieve, maintain and prove PCI compliance by implementing file integrity monitoring controls on the technology that supports these transactions.
What’s more, failure to meet compliance guidelines can result in monetary penalties, or even the suspension or revocation of a company’s right to accept or process credit card transactions.
TALKINGtech chief technology officer, Chris O’Donoghue, said the Tripwire Enterprise solution monitored and reported on unauthorised changes across the company’s PCI-related systems, bringing issues to immediate attention.
“Tripwire helps to maintain PCI compliance by being able to quickly reconcile points on the system that could put us out of compliance, allowing us to implement strict change control.”
