Mobile operators get fixed price spectrum renewal in $3b Government windfall

The Government has offered Australia's three mobile operators, and vividwireless, renewal of their existing spectrum allocated on 15 year licences in the late 90s and early 2000s at set prices, while the Government expects to rake in $3 billion.

Time zone information, the Japanese postal code dictionary and the junk mail filter have been updated. (Hurrah! More spam than usual has been getting through to my inbox in the last few weeks.)

Other Entourage fixes are said to prevent the display of HTML messages as if they were blank (yep, I've seen that and will be glad to be rid of it), the incorrect display of embedded images, and the truncation of characters following an & in hyperlinks. I can't say I've run into that last point, but it would be really annoying.

An overall change to the suite means it is no longer necessary to restart an application after adding an AppleScript to its Scripts menu. Apart from that, PowerPoint gets off scot-free.

The 12.1.2 update is not cumulative, and requires that the 12.1.1 update is already installed.
